Lars Lichtenstein

Lars Lichtenstein is in his role with DNV GL (former Germanischer Lloyd) as principal specialist for certification of steel construction and responsible expert for corrosion protection systems of wind turbines since 2008.

Lars Lichtenstein had the leading part in developing the guideline DNVGL-RP-0416 Corrosion protection for wind turbines.

DNV GL has assessed the majority of the German offshore wind farms and the offshore windfarms worldwide.

Prior to this engagement Lars Lichtenstein received a degree in civil engineering from TUHH 1997 and has worked several years as a structural engineer and designer as well as a project manager with ASSMANN Beraten + Planen and the city of Hamburg at the LSBG.
